27. Buffalo Bills (25)

Isn’t it amazing how fast things can change in a span of a few days for the Buffalo Bills when looking at their roster heading into the first preseason game against the Minnesota Vikings? Not only did the Bills send Sammy Watkins to the Los Angeles Rams in a trade that helped them land E.J. Gaines, but the team acquired Jordan Matthews from the Philadelphia Eagles in exchange for Ronald Darby.

All of a sudden, Buffalo’s roster looks completely different heading into their second preseason game, and only time will tell when it comes to whether these surprise trade moves will payoff. Due to his history of injuries, it’s easy to understand why the Bills felt some sort of frustration towards Watkins, but to give up without allowing him to prove himself in 2017 seems like a move that could come back to haunt the team.

From Tyrod Taylor‘s perspective, the Buffalo quarterback has every reason in the world to feel frustrated over the moves since he lost a deep threat in Watkins. And while the addition of Matthews is better than nothing, it’s simply just not going to be the same for Taylor without Watkins in the picture anymore.
