26. Los Angeles Chargers (26)

Everything looked good at the beginning of the game for the Los Angeles Chargers against the Seattle Seahawks after Philip Rivers and Antonio Gates jumped off to a hot start by connecting for a touchdown in the first quarter. But the good news is if Rivers and the Chargers can play like they did early on against the Seahawks during the regular season, this team may finally begin to start being contenders in the AFC once again.

The argument can be made that no team has been a bigger victim of the injury bug over the last two seasons than Los Angeles when seeing how much it’s hurt them on both sides of the football. Even this year, the Chargers have been forced to deal with injuries to their two top rookies in wide receiver Mike Williams and Forrest Lamp.

If the Chargers can work on a few of their key mistakes, especially turnovers and defense, that were on display against the Seahawks, maybe this team can find a way to move up a few spots before the regular season gets underway. Playing in the AFC West is certainly no easy task when seeing how the division played out last year, but Rivers will do whatever it takes to make sure Los Angeles finds a way to make things interesting.
