20. Philadelphia Eagles (20)

Expectations are high for Carson Wentz entering his second season as the starter after seeing all of the adjustments made by the Philadelphia Eagles in the offseason to build a better offense around the quarterback. And even though the Eagles picked up the big win on the road against the Washington Redskins, Wentz better hope he works on making fewer mistakes moving forward if this team is going to have any chance at making a run for the NFC East title.

From his costly interception the Redskins ended up returning for a touchdown to a fumble on a screen pass that easily could have been avoided, Wentz will hopefully look at the film from Sunday’s game to better prepare himself for the team’s Week 2 matchup against the Kansas City Chiefs. Because if Wentz believes Philadelphia will be able to pull off the win in a tougher atmosphere with similar mistakes, he’s way wrong.

At least on the defensive side of the football, the Eagles were able to make a few big plays to make it a long afternoon for Kirk Cousins, who finished the game with three turnovers. However, the loss of Ronald Darby was a major blow to this defense when looking at how quickly the cornerback was able to make an impact following a trade with the Buffalo Bills.
