1. Green Bay Packers (1)

Thanks to the New England Patriots suffering an embarrassing loss on opening night to the Kansas City Chiefs, the Green Bay Packers are fortunate to work their way into the No. 1 spot heading into their Week 2 matchup against the Atlanta Falcons. And even though Aaron Rodgers didn’t score the typical amount of points they tend to score each game against the Seattle Seahawks, think of this more as an impressive performance by the defense to make this squad even more dangerous to compete against in the NFC.

Everybody knows what Green Bay is capable of with Rodgers under center since quarterback always has the offense ranking near the top of the league. But when seeing how good the Packers’ defense looked against the Seahawks in what turned out to be a very physical game, Mike McCarthy‘s team seems like even stronger favorites to win the NFC North once again.

After the offense was shutout in the first half against Seattle, give Rodgers credit for rallying Green Bay in the second half to help pull off this epic victory. The Packers quarterback has been a man on a mission since the team lost in the NFC Championship, and even if it looked ugly at times, this was a great start to the season for Rodgers and company.
