With a Week 3 matchup against the San Francisco 49ers, here are the top five Los Angeles Rams to consider for fantasy football purposes.

One week after making plenty of fantasy football owners happy following a stellar performance against the Indianapolis Colts, most members of the Los Angeles Rams failed to make a big impact against the Washington Redskins in Week 2, other than Todd Gurley of course. However, with a favorable matchup against the San Francisco 49ers scheduled for Thursday evening, there are a few members from Sean McVay‘s squad worth considering for fantasy football lineups in Week 3.

Normally, a meeting with an 0-2 team like the 49ers would seem to work to the advantage of the Rams, but last year is the perfect example of how this is not a game McVay should take lightly. San Francisco only won two contests all of last season, and believe it or not, both of those wins happened to come against Los Angeles.

What makes this matchup even more exciting for the NFC West is this mark’s the first time McVay and Kyle Shanahan will square off as head coaches for their new beloved teams in what could turn into quite the fun rivalry between the Rams and 49ers. But for now, let’s rank the top five players to consider from Los Angeles for fantasy football when the team faces San Francisco on Thursday night.
