Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Cooper Kupp looks to bounce back from just two catches against the San Francisco 49ers in Week 3.

Even though it’s still way too early, the Los Angeles Rams hope to end up with one of the biggest steals from this year’s NFL Draft in wide receiver Cooper Kupp. Building a better offense around Jared Goff was one of the top priorities for this team entering the offseason, and based off what he was able to accomplish in preseason along with the few games played in September, the Rams have to be pleased with Kupp’s start overall.

However, with an upcoming matchup against a high-powered offense in the Dallas Cowboys, Los Angeles hopes to see Kupp make more of an impact production wise in Week 4 after a quiet performance against the San Francisco 49ers. In that game, Kupp caught both passes thrown his way while finishing with 17 yards, but also the 49ers’ defense deserves some credit for making it difficult on the wideout to get open.

Still, despite Kupp having trouble with getting open, at least Goff was able to take advantage of two of his other wideouts in Sammy Watkins (six catches for 106 yards with two touchdowns) and Robert Woods (six catches for 108 yards) to help the Rams earn the tough 41-39 win. And with another tough matchup against Dallas scheduled for Sunday afternoon, Goff will heavily rely on his group of wide receivers once again since this has the potential to be quite the high-scoring contest, especially with Kupp.

Keep in mind there’s a reason why the Rams were so high on Kupp in this year’s NFL Draft after watching the rookie finish his career at Eastern Washington with 428 passes for 6,464 yards to go along with 73 touchdowns in four seasons. Depending on how much Tavon Austin is involved on offense, don’t be surprised if Kupp sees an increase in statistics against Dallas after being limited to just two catches one week ago.
