2. Jared Goff
Don’t look now, but Jared Goff has silenced just about all of his doubters that wondered whether he had what it takes to be the quarterback for the Los Angeles Rams after seeing all of the struggles from last season. Then again, the Rams didn’t exactly do the best of jobs with providing him the proper offensive line along with receiving corps, so it was unfair to judge Goff from those seven starts.
Goff deserves plenty of credit for how quickly he’s picked up Sean McVay‘s new offense, as the former California star has played a major role in this offense shocking the NFL over the first four games. Over the years, the defense of the Seattle Seahawks has established a reputation for being one of the best in the league, but also the argument can be made they’re not as dominant as usual either.
Seeing Goff already complete seven touchdown passes compared to just one interception over four games finally has the Rams’ offense earning the respect they’ve been waiting to earn. The Seahawks certainly aren’t going to make it easy, but Goff is certainly ready for the challenge when these two NFC West rivals square off in the first of two meetings.
