The Los Angeles Rams and Jacksonville Jaguars meet in Week 6 as two teams that may have NFL fans scratching their head. With both teams at 3-2, look for this game to come down to the defenses. Something LA fans have seen before.
The Los Angeles Rams travel to the other coast on Sunday for a Week 6 matchup against fellow upstart Jacksonville. LA needs a win, but will find a stingy defense not unlike what they saw in Week 5 against the Seattle Seahawks.

The Rams are interesting this week but for a much different reason. Let’s be honest, over 16 games, Los Angeles is going to stumble. With the exception of a few pieces, this is a remarkably young team. Jared Goff, who has clearly grown since his 0-7 inaugural season of 2016, came back to earth this past Sunday, looking as if his touch on his long ball was off, and tossing two pics.
But if the Rams think they saw a good defense in Seattle, they’ll see another good one in Jacksonville.
This is a week Los Angeles needs to get back on track. Their next game takes them to London for a home game against NFC West foe Arizona. That’s hardly a home game, but is certainly winnable.
So is this trip to play the Jags.
If we learned anything in the loss to Seattle, it’s that the Rams can play a bad game against a quality opponent, and still have a shot at winning. And yes, Goff wasn’t particularly sharp, but when he needed to make some passes late, he was able to.
When the schedules came out, who would have known Jaguars / Rams would be a good matchup of two teams with 3-2 records trending up?
Seriously, who knew?
