The Los Angeles Rams “host” the Arizona Cardinals in London for a Week 7 NFC West Matchup.
The Los Angeles Rams take their road show to London for a home game against the aging but rejuvenated Arizona Cardinals.
Yes, rejuvenated.

The Cardinals acquired running back Adrian Peterson from the New Orleans Saints last week, and immediately Peterson posted a huge game in the desert for his new team. Against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, the veteran running back tore off 26 carries for 134 yards. To make his point he wasn’t done just yet, he also torched Tampa for 54 yards and a touchdown the first four times he touched the football.
All that said, Arizona had to hold on for a 38-33 win that got tight at the end.
Now, was that a ‘one off’ for the Cardinals geriatric offense?
Hard to say.
But if this is the beginning of a trend for Arizona, LA will have their hands full in London.
The Rams will take a 6-2 record into their third game against an NFC West opponent. This season, Los Angeles is 1-1 against the division, and would need a win against the Cardinals to keep pace with the Seattle Seahawks.
After the Rams offense looked to be taking off to cruising altitude in 2017, LA has been stifled the last two weeks. Against both Seattle and Jacksonville, Sean McVay’s offense hasn’t found the end zone much.
Only twice in the last two weeks.
On a tough travel week that takes Los Angeles from home base to Jacksonville, and then on to London, McVay will need to get Jared Goff right if they are to have any shot advancing their win total beyond the four they have now.

Hopefully, the 38 points the Cardinals had and the return of Peterson was only a one week blip, and not a trend.
