2017 NFL Power Rankings Week 8: Rams climb after shutting out Cardinals in London

10. Buffalo Bills (12)
At one point in the third quarter, the Buffalo Bills seemed to be on their way to a victory over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers after jumping out to a comfortable 17-6 lead. But unfortunately for the Bills, the Buccaneers were able to fight their way back into the football game to make it a lot closer than it should have been, although the important factor is they still ended up on the winning end.
Give Buffalo credit for not hitting the panic button when they found themselves trailing 27-20 late in the fourth quarter by scoring 10 points in the final minutes to pickup the thrilling 30-27 over Tampa Bay to improve to 4-2 on the season. Defense has been the major strength for the Bills all season after they’ve slowly worked their way up to being one of the best in the league, and even though the unit struggled at times against the Buccaneers, at least the offense was able to come up big when it mattered the most.
In a division the New England Patriots were expected to cruise through, Buffalo has turned into one of the biggest surprise contenders from the first half of the regular season. They still have a long way to go, but for a team that was expected to go through rebuilding mode, the Bills are actually fun to watch.
