6. Seattle Seahawks (9)

From a record perspective, the Seattle Seahawks seemed like an easy favorite against the New York Giants, but when seeing how things looked at times in the first half, the defending NFC West champions all of a sudden found themselves on upset alert trailing 7-3 at halftime. However, give the Seahawks credit for figuring out a way to turn things around during the final two quarters since those seven points would end up being the only points scored by the Giants for the rest of the game.

While the defense deserves plenty of credit for shutting down Eli Manning in the second half, it was Russell Wilson who ended up being the difference maker for Seattle after leading the offense to three-touchdown drives during the 24-7 win. With three wins in a row, the Seahawks are keeping it close with the Los Angeles Rams in the NFC West, although they still have a long way to go.

Offensive line continues to be a major issue for this team, as Wilson continues to learn the hard way there’s only so much he can do on his own without the proper support from his teammates. But also, Seattle should just be thrilled over escaping with a win in this one since trips to the east coast are never easy for these kinds of teams.
