Since that loss, Washington has looked like a completely different team, as they realize what’s at stake if they manage to pull off a win on the road against Philadelphia since first place isn’t too far behind in the NFC East. Not to mention, there have been numerous teams over the years in which Kirk Cousins has found a way to torch this defense, like the 2015 season when he helped eliminate the Eagles from playoff contention with a four-touchdown performance.

Luckily, Carson Wentz is playing at a MVP level at the moment, as the former first-round pick enters Week 7 already with 13 touchdown passes to go along with just three interceptions. Assuming the offense continues to click, Philadelphia looks to remain on top of the league with the best record if they can earn the win against their division rivals on Monday night in front of a national audience.
