Going to London hasn’t always been kind to the Los Angeles Rams. But after a 33-ZERO pounding of the Arizona Cardinals, LA showed that one thing they do well is win on the road.

They also showed that when they get a team down, they can keep them down, a lesson learned from a near collapse in San Francisco.

The Rams are genuine road warriors in 2017. After losing to the Seahawks in Los Angeles, they’d fly to Florida, play a game, live for the better part of a week in a hotel, then fly to London to play AND WIN a divisional game they needed to have.

They also showed one other thing.

When they had the Cardinals down and on the ropes, they didn’t let them back up. Sure, Carson Palmer went down to an injury, but late in the game, with a win in the books, they could have given up a meaningless score.

But they didn’t.

When the Rams sensed blood in the water, they didn’t allow Arizona a shred of offensive dignity. They didn’t take the their foot of the gas or off of their opponents throat.

They finished the job, and in effect, finished of the Cardinals for 2017.
