17. New York Jets (24)

As crazy as it sounds, the New York Jets may be the most confusing team to figure out in the moment since nobody truly knows what to expect from them on a weekly basis. But if Todd Bowles and company can figure out a way to play like they did against the New York Jets each game, this team may actually make a surprise run at one of the playoff spots in the AFC, which nobody could have predicted a few months back.

For the first time in what seems like forever, Matt Forte finally looked like his old self at running back after rushing for 77 yards to go along with two trips in to the end zone against the Bills. Then again, this was the first time all season that Forte actually received double-digit carries, so it will be interesting to see if the veteran running back can use this game as motivation to continue playing well over the next few weeks.

Because when it comes to New York’s offense, Josh McCown is going to need all of the extra help he can receive moving forward to give this team a fighting chance in the AFC. And to think, the Jets were expected to win maybe three or four games at most in 2017, which they’ve already managed to do in just nine games.
