10. Jacksonville Jaguars (13)
Prior to Sunday’s game against the Cincinnati Bengals, fantasy football owners were shocked to hear the news surrounding the Jacksonville Jaguars, and how rookie sensation Leonard Fournette wouldn’t play due to violating team rules. Luckily for the Jaguars, the absence of the former LSU star didn’t even after the team had little trouble getting by the Bengals during their 23-7 win.
Sure, Cincinnati getting more from A.J. Green before the wideout’s ejection could have made a huge difference, but even before that happened, Jacksonville seemed to be in full control of this game. For a team that has looked inconsistent at times throughout the regular season, the Jaguars seem to finally be moving in the right direction after picking up their third win in four games thanks to the defense continuing to show they are in fact one of the best in the league.
For years, Jacksonville has always been viewed as one of those teams with a ton of potential, only to end up being a disappointment every time by failing to live up to the hype. But when looking at how well this team has played so far, it’s safe to say the Jaguars are finally for real after all of those years consisting of disappointment.
