9. Kansas City Chiefs (6)

Isn’t it amazing how the Kansas City Chiefs appeared to be unstoppable early on in the year following a 5-0 start, only to end up losing three of their last four games? Even though the Chiefs are still in first place at the moment in the AFC West, there are all of a sudden some concerns surrounding this team when it comes to being one of the best in the conference.

Yes, playing on the road against a talented team like the Dallas Cowboys is never an easy task, but also if it wasn’t for numerous costly mistakes, Kansas City could have ended up on the winning end. Between allowing the Cowboys to march 82 yards in the final minutes of the first half to a quiet fourth quarter on offense, the Chiefs have nobody to blame other than themselves for this one.

Kansas City can’t even enjoy being the only team in their division above .500 at the moment when looking at some of their struggles over the last couple of weeks, but at least a bye week will give Andy Reid’s team some time to recover from what hopefully turns out to be just a funk. Because if the Giants return from their bye, and end up losing to the New York Giants, one can only imagine how this team will be feeling.
