Jared Goff and the Los Angeles Rams face a tough challenge on the road in Week 11 against the Minnesota Vikings.

Over the last couple of weeks, the Los Angeles Rams have worked their way to becoming one of the hottest teams in the NFC with a 7-2 record to help them stay on top of the NFC West heading into Sunday’s game against the Minnesota Vikings. In a way, this may be the toughest challenge for the Rams this month when looking at some of the competition they’ve had to face, and if Sean McVay‘s squad is going to have any chance at defeating the Vikings, Jared Goff will need to be on top of his game once again.

After all of the struggles experienced as a rookie, Goff has elevated his game to a whole new level during his sophomore season thanks to the former California buying into what McVay was selling when it comes to his offense. And if all goes well for Goff against Minnesota on Sunday, the Los Angeles quarterback could earn his place in NFL history with one of the greatest to ever play the game in Tom Brady.

Phenomenal doesn’t even begin to describe how Goff has looked over the last two games for the Rams on offense after throwing for 666 yards to go along with seven touchdowns when facing the New York Giants and Houston Texans. But as impressive as these numbers have been, even Goff realizes how difficult it’s going to be to post similar numbers against one of the toughest defenses the NFL has to offer in Minnesota.

Never in a million years did Los Angeles imagine Goff would make this much of a leap in his second season, but when seeing how the organization addressed the weaknesses on the offensive line along with the receiving corps, it’s really not a surprise at all. Joining Brady in the history books would obviously be amazing for a young quarterback like Goff, but at the end of the day, the only important factor for Week 11 is he performs well enough on offense to help the Rams earn their fifth win on a row to stay ahead of the Seahawks in the division standings.
