Will Rams get some help from 49ers against Seahawks?
By Steve Rivera
The Los Angeles Rams shouldn’t count on help from anyone as they track towards a possible division title and playoff run.
Good or not so good, NFL teams can always look for, though not always get some help from their division brethren. The Los Angeles Rams wouldn’t mind a bit of that today when the San Francisco 49ers hook up for an NFC matchup with the Seattle Seahawks.

Just don’t count on it.
The 49ers, who made a stunning move at the trade deadline for then Patriots quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo, will continue to keep him on the bench in favor of C.J. Beathard.
That’s right, trade for who most would believe is a starter in the NFL, and start a guy most would concede is not.
Either way, the Rams can count on a dogfight for the heart and soul of the NFC West with the Seahawks as Los Angeles heads down the stretch of the 2017 season.

San Francisco, who played Seattle tight on the road in Week 2 losing eventually 12-9, will have them at home in a game where the Niners are coming off a win against the Giants, and the Seahawks a loss to Atlanta.
For Los Angeles, they’ll have their hands full with a home game against NFC South leader and genuine Super Bowl contender New Orleans. The Saints, who are having a solid season behind veteran quarterback Drew Brees, will face a Los Angeles team coming off a loss against NFC North leader Minnesota. The Rams are needing a bounce-back game to stay in the hunt for postseason play.
Either way, whatever happens in the Bay Area between the 49ers and Seahawks, the Rams will need to take care of their own business, needing to beat a division leader to stay in contention of their own, and in the NFC.
