While the Los Angeles Rams have Jared Goff, the addition of Jimmy Garoppolo in San Francisco, and with Russell Wilson already in Seattle, make you wonder if the NFC West has the quarterbacks in the NFL.

Jared Goff is the man for the Los Angeles Rams. The same can be said for Russell Wilson in Seattle. And maybe, possibly, before all is said and done this season, fans of the San Francisco 49ers will feel the same about Jimmy Garoppolo in the Bay Area.

As for the Arizona Cardinals, it’s anyone’s guess who is under center in 2018.

Hello, Kirk Cousins!!!

It’s quite possible that the wealth of quarterback talent in the NFL could reside in the NFC West by the end of this season. At the very very least, the prospects for above average quarterback play may be in three NFL cities in the Pacific Time Zone.

Especially in Los Angeles.

As bad as the Rams have been is as good as they are trending now, and Goff, come season’s end, stands to become the poster boy of quarterback depth in the NFC West.

It’s a long time coming. Especially out this way.

Jared Goff.
Russell Wilson.
Jimmy Garoppolo.

And even if you subscribe to the crazy conspiracy theory that has the Niners dealing Jimmy G. to sign and reunite Kyle Shanahan and Cousins, the future is ridiculously bright in the NFC West.

It also may be where the power shift in the NFC moves towards.

The Rams look to be here to stay, and unless the Seahawks completely go south, it’ll be a tight two team race.

But it’s the prospects of Garoppolo and the 49ers that make things beyond interesting.

2018 could be a season where the power and glamour found in the NFC East moves out West where a genuine youth movement has broken out in Los Angeles and maybe in San Francisco.

Which bodes well for the entire division.
