As part of his deal with the Los Angeles Rams, Michael Brockers could end up with a nice bonus by recording a sack against the San Francisco 49ers in Week 17.

Even though the Los Angeles Rams are resting numerous key starters since Sean McVay is happy with the team earning the No. 3 or No. 4 seed, there are still a few key factors to keep an eye on for Sunday’s game against the San Francisco 49ers, such as player bonuses. Regular-season finales may seem meaningless for a majority of players across the NFL, but for some of those individuals, this is one final opportunity to add to their current statistics to earn some extra money at the end of the year.

When it comes to the Rams, the main player to keep an eye on against the 49ers will be defensive lineman Michael Brockers, who has been phenomenal for the most part this year while playing under Wade Phillips. In fact, there are plenty of Los Angeles fans that strongly believe the former first-round pick was snubbed from the Pro Bowl, but at the end of the day, none of that will even matter if Brockers and his teammates end up pulling off the most important accomplishment, which would be a trip to Minnesota for the Super Bowl.

Not to mention, the good news for Brockers is Sunday’s regular-season finale could still result in receiving some addition income if he’s able to add one more sack to his total from the 2017 season. And when looking at how some of the key starters such as Aaron Donald will be watching from the sidelines to rest up for Wild Card weekend, that could very well happen for Brockers.

Also, it should be noted that Brockers would not only receive that $125,000 bonus with a sack in Week 17, but the 5.5 sacks would also tie a career high for the former LSU standout. Obviously, this would be quite the accomplishment for someone like Brockers, but no matter what ends up happening, the important factor is the Rams will be fortunate enough to be playing around this time next weekend, unlike 20 other teams in the league. As for who the opponent will be for Los Angeles, all eyes will be on the afternoon set of games for Week 17 to see which teams are fortunate enough to make the playoffs.
