The Los Angeles Rams have an amazingly young team, especially at key positions on both sides of the football. Should head coach Sean McVay win the NFL Coach of the Year award, it’ll be largely in part to how he flipped the fortunes of second year quarterback Jared Goff.

One game that is on the Rams home slate is the Green Bay Packers and future Hall of Famer Aaron Rodgers. For local LA fans, a primetime stand alone with the franchise who inaugurated the first Super Bowl in the Coliseum is a smart pick.

Maybe even a Sunday Night feature.

Rodgers, who was sidelined with an injury for a good chunk of 2017, would be a glimpse of what is, versus what could be in LA with Goff.

It could also be a look at two potential NFC titans if the Packers regain their status in the NFC North, and the Rams continue to play like the NFC West champion.

For Los Angeles, Green Bay is NFL royalty in their backyard.

Maybe a glimpse of the past and what may be in the future. It’s also just good football TV.

A feature of Goff and a bonafide league superstar in Rodgers is always good television, and another reason the networks should have this in the evening window.
