Notre Dame. Mike McGlinchey. 12. player. 56. . Offensive Tackle

It was one thing for the Cincinnati Bengals to lose Andrew Whitworth to the Los Angeles Rams last offseason to free agency, but seeing Kevin Zeitler join a rivalry like the Cleveland Browns was an even tougher blow to the unit. Over the years, the offensive line of the Bengals had been considered one of the best in the league, and seeing suffer from the losses of Whitworth and Zeitler was painful to watch.

Pressure was already high on Cincinnati to get back in the mix of being contenders in the AFC, but the only way that’s going to happen is if the offensive line improves over the next few months to be ready for the 2018 season. Luckily, the struggles surrounding the Bengals put them in great position to land a top offensive lineman once April arrives, such as Mike McGlinchey.

Trying to get by the Notre Dame standout has been a nightmare for opponents over the years when considering his massive size along with blocking ability sets McGlinchey apart from other players at his position. Talent wise, Andy Dalton has plenty of great weapons to work with, but boosting the line to provide better protection would make the Cincinnati quarterback feel much better heading into his eighth season with the team.
