2018 NFL Mock Draft: Los Angeles Rams select Donte Jackson first round

Protecting Aaron Rodgers has always been a top priority for the Green Bay Packers, but it will become even more important moving forward when seeing how much of a hit the offense took this season when their beloved quarterback suffered a broken collarbone. One can only imagine how this year would have turned out had Rodgers been healthy enough to help the Packers make a playoff run, but all the team can do now is focus on making sure that doesn’t happen again in 2018.
Talent wise, quarterbacks around the league would do anything to have the teammates Rodgers is fortunate enough to work with at receiver, although it will be interesting to see if the ground game ends up being more consistent next season. As for what needs Green Bay should focus on come April, since Nelson and McGlinchey will most likely be off the board by the time they’re on the clock, another name to keep an eye on is Orlando Brown.
Using a first rounder on Brown may seem like a stretch since there are some who believe he could fall into the second round, but the Oklahoma standout seems like he would be well worth the risk. As previously mentioned, protecting Rodgers has become a top priority after the results of this season, and at least Brown would help fill part of the need with the offensive line, even if there are a few areas on his end in need of improvement.
