32. . Quarterback. Wyoming . Josh Allen. 15. player

Over the last couple of years, the Arizona Cardinals knew it would be only a matter of time before they would have to find a replacement for Carson Palmer at quarterback, but it’s tough not to wonder if his retirement came as a surprise. The good news for the Cardinals is when looking at the options from this year’s draft class, the team shouldn’t have a problem with finding his replacement.

Not to mention, whoever does end up being the starting quarterback for Arizona, they’re going to be in better shape than most players starting off on a new team for the first time with weapons like David Johnson and Larry Fitzgerald to work with. And with all of the talent at the position, there’s a good chance Wyoming’s Josh Allen will still be available in the middle of the first round, which would be amazing for the Cardinals.

Allen has the arm strength and mobility to succeed at the NFL level, which is one of the main reasons why the quarterback’s stock has gone up over the last couple of weeks with players declaring for April. From Arizona’s perspective, they understand that someone like Allen may need a year to develop at the NFL level, but also there are plenty of reasons to believe he could succeed right away when looking at how quickly some rookies have made immediate impacts over the years.
