16. . Defensive End. Ohio State. Sam Hubbard. 21. player

Before the regular season got underway, the Buffalo Bills put themselves in great position for 2018 when considering they were able to earn an extra first-round pick, although nobody expected them to have the type of season they put together. If anything, the Bills were expected to go through a rebuilding year, but after earning one of the Wild Card spots, the future seems bright for Sean McDermott’s team, especially on the defensive side of the football.

The defense was one of the main reasons why Buffalo was able to shock the NFL world for the most part by carrying the team to a playoff berth, but just like a handful of other teams, there are always areas in need of improvement. For example, if the Bills are looking to add a defensive end, Sam Hubbard could be right up their ally if they’re looking for another playmaker capable of getting to quarterbacks.

Consistency may seem like an issue, but there’s a reason why Hubbard was always one of the most respected players on the defensive side of the football for the Buckeyes. Applying his skills to a defense on the rise in Buffalo would only make the unit more dangerous, as one can only imagine how much the unit is going to build off of this year’s success.
