. Defensive Tackle. Michigan. Maurice Hurst. 26. player. 44

Losing to the Philadelphia Eagles in the Divisional Round was a crushing blow to the Atlanta Falcons since this team wanted nothing more than to earn another chance at redemption to win the Super Bowl after their collapse against the New England Patriots last February. Words can’t eve describe how the Falcons must be feeling since there’s a good chance the team is still trying to recover from what happened in last year’s Super Bowl, but at least this team should be in good shape over the next couple of years.

There’s a popular saying about how defense wins championships, and when looking at how Atlanta’s unit has performed over the last two years, it’s clear they are young and on the rise. Just look at how well they played for the most part in their two playoff games against the Los Angeles Rams and Philadelphia Eagles, as it’s clear this team will be in good shape for years to come, although their defense could see some improvements in the upcoming draft.

That’s where Maurice Hurst comes into play, as his quickness can be dangerous for offensive lineman he’s facing, and would be great addition to Dan Quinn’s squad. The Falcons have earned a trip to the postseason in each of the last two seasons, and improving on the defensive side of the football would almost guarantee a third trip in a row.
