. Wide Receiver. Texas A&M. Christian Kirk. 27. player. 15

Losing to the Minnesota Vikings the way they did was a crushing blow to the New Orleans Saints since all signs pointed to Sean Payton’s squad punching their ticket to the NFC Championship Game against the Philadelphia Eagles. But after allowing Stefon Diggs to catch the game-winning catch from 61 yards out, the Saints will have to wait until next season to try earning another trip to the Super Bowl.

One can only imagine how New Orleans was feeling after watching Digg score that game-winning touchdown, but if they have to remain positive, the one factor to consider is this team overcame all obstacle by becoming a top contender in the NFC. Keep in mind that all hope seemed lost for the Saints after their 0-2 start, as the defense played a key role in the team’s turnaround, but that doesn’t mean Drew Brees wouldn’t love another additional weapon to work with on the offensive side of the football.

The ground game was phenomenal for the Saints this season when looking how Mark Ingram and Alvin Kamara provided the offense with one of the league’s top duos. And while Michael Thomas was the clear leader at wide receiver, bringing an effective playmaker like Christian Kirk, who caught 26 touchdown passes over the last three seasons at Texas A&M, on board would help elevate the passing game to a whole new level.
