After winning the NFC West in 2017, the Los Angeles Rams have favorable Super Bowl LIII odds heading into next season.

While the Philadelphia Eagles are enjoying their big win over the New England Patriots in Super Bowl LII, the Los Angeles Rams are already looking ahead to next season to see if they have what it takes to represent the NFC in Atlanta for Super Bowl LIII. Losing to the Atlanta Falcons in the Wild Card Round was certainly frustrating, but if Sean McVay and the Rams can use the loss as a learning experience, there’s every reason to believe this team will be one of the top contenders in the NFC during the 2018 season.

In fact, unlike last year, Los Angeles will actually head into the new season as one of the top favorites to win the Super Bowl, which is a statement that nobody ever would have imagined around this time last February. Despite all of the excitement in the hiring of an offensive mastermind like McVay, the Rams were expected to at least go through a year of rebuilding since they only won four games the previous season.

Instead, Los Angeles turned out to be one of the biggest surprises from last season thanks to Jared Goff having a Pro Bowl season along with Todd Gurley falling second behind Tom Brady in the MVP voting. Assuming this offensive duo picks up where they left off along with the defense continuing to play at a high level, there Rams should be able to live up to the hype of not only being the team to beat in the NFC West, but possibly the conference as well.

Now that last season is officially over, the folks at BetDSI Sportsbook wasted little time in getting odds out for Super Bowl LIII, with the Patriots (+400) and Eagles (+800) taking the early honors of being the top two teams to beat. As for the Rams, just the fact that McVay’s team currently sits in the top 10 at +1900 shows how far this team has come in such a short amount of time after making a major leap last season to become serious contenders.

Even more exciting, Los Angeles is built strong enough on both sides of the football where they seem capable of being one of the favorites to win the Super Bowl for years to come. It’s certainly not going to be easy, but McVay and the Rams seem ready for the challenge.
