Brandin Cooks is the latest to arrive in LA as the Los Angeles Rams continue to show an aggressive streak in the 2018  offseason.

The Los Angeles Rams continue to be aggressive in the 2018 offseason, as they trade away their first round pick, the No. 23 pick overall, to the New England Patriots for wide receiver Brandin Cooks.

They also lose a pick in the sixth-round.

Cooks should end whatever angst remained with the vacancy created by Sammy Watkins, but will raise questions if the price paid, as with Watkins, was too high.

It’s a fair question.

The Rams remain insanely aggressive this offseason, as they continue to pursue their version of what’s better than 11-5. That said, Cooks will beg the question, and reasonably so, whether the pick lost at No. 23 is too high given what LA still needs.

Gone now is the impact player in the 2018 NFL Draft, especially an edge rusher/linebacker to be had that starts opening day. Also, for fans who thought that maybe an offensive lineman, one who might push some of the age at center or tackle, is also gone.

Did the Rams get this one right?

For those who thought LA had been willing to let a bad decision go with the departure of Watkins, will find room to criticize a Rams team who traded for a guy already traded twice in the last 13 months.

Smart?
You’ll decide.

Los Angeles continues to be aggressive in their ‘win now’ approach. If it pays off and Cooks is a Pro Bowl kind of player, then General Manager Les Snead and head coach Sean McVay will be NFL royalty.

If he is not, then not so much.

The Los Angeles Rams are “that team” flirting with greatness. But is Cooks that guy who moves the needle after an offseason of moves that definitely do?

No, he is not.

Now LA has to prove he is.

Haven’t we seen this show before?
