15. Denver Broncos
Just like a few other teams on this list, the Denver Broncos have struggled to live up to their true potential over the last two seasons as a result of issues at the quarterback position since guys like Trevor Siemian and Brock Osweiler were clearly far from the answer. As soon as last season came to an end, the Broncos were expected to make a heavy push at landing a quarterback either through free agency or the draft, which is where Case Keenum came into play.
After the Vikings decided to move on from the MVP candidate while going with Kirk Cousins instead, Denver wasted little time in signing Keenum to give the offense a much-needed upgrade at the quarterback position. If Keenum was able to find success this past season running Minnesota’s offense, there’s every reason to believe he can do the same in Denver thanks to having a reliable duo in Demaryius Thomas and Emmanuel Sanders to work with.
Not to mention, the Broncos’ defense should benefit from this key move as well since they won’t feel extra pressure to carry most of the load while the offense fails to come through on their end. Don’t look now, but Denver could be on the verge of being a playoff contender once again in 2018.
