28. Cincinnati Bengals

Discussing how Marvin Lewis still has a job with the Cincinnati Bengals despite his inability to lead the team to a playoff win has become an annoying topic over the years, but here they are once again heading into the 2018 season. Towards the end of last year, the Bengals seemed to finally be moving on from their head coach before he seemed to change his mind at the last second to return while earning a two-year extension in the process.

As if his 0-7 playoff record wasn’t already embarrassing enough, Lewis will also have to deal with Cincinnati missing out on the postseason in each of the last two seasons heading into 2018, bringing a whole new level of pressure to the table. Also, the Bengals continue to have issues with Vontaze Burfict since the linebacker is facing another suspension, meaning the team may be looking to the draft to add another player at the position for some insurance.

On a positive note, at least Andy Dalton still has one of the league’s most talented receivers to work with in A.J. Green, as this duo will play a key role in helping Cincinnati get back on the right track. Then again, even if the Bengals fall short of reaching the playoffs for a third year in a row, at least Lewis will still feel comfortable over his job being safe.
