Week 3: Houston Texans

Speaking of teams that failed to live up to the hype in 2017, the Houston Texans would end up having a season to forget, although it wasn’t entirely their fault since they were one of the biggest victims of the injury bug. Between losing J.J. Watt early on the defensive side of the football to Deshaun Watson suffering a torn ACL in the middle of a phenomenal rookie campaign, the Texans hope all of their key players returning to full strength will result in the team becoming a top contender once again.

For years, Houston was always considered to be a team that was one quarterback away from being a serious contender since the defense was always in great shape led by Watt. Thanks to landing Watson in last year’s draft, the Texans seem to have finally found the quarterback they’ve spent all of these years searching for, and if his rookie experience is any indication of what’s in store for the future, this offense is going to be fun to watch.

One can only imagine how last season would have turned out if Houston was fully healthy, but all they can do is focus on improving in 2018. As long as guys like Watt and Watson return without any complications, the Texans should be tough to beat.
