Week 4: @ New Orleans Saints

Depending on how next season goes, there’s always the chance of the Rams running into the New Orleans Saints once again in the playoffs since these two teams are expected to be serious contenders in the NFC. After a 0-2 start, the Saints appeared to be heading towards another year of finishing below .500 before turning their season around by winning eight games in a row.

Throw winning the NFC South title into the mix, and it’s easy to understand why expectations will be high for New Orleans once again heading into 2018 since they could very well end up with one of the top overall teams in the NFL. Without question, offense has been the unit that’s carried this team over the years, but the Saints’ defense was actually the ones that stepped up in a big way in 2017 thanks to a successful draft led by the selection of Marshon Lattimore.

If only this wasn’t the final game of the preseason so fans could get an actual preview of what to expect from the starters, but at least when this game arrives, it will mean Week 1 is right around the corner.
