3. Saints

At the beginning of last season, all hope seemed lost for the New Orleans Saints following a 0-2 start, as they appeared to be heading towards another year of finishing below .500 like previous seasons. Instead, the Saints would go on to win their next eight games while making a huge statement when it came to being one of the top teams to beat in the NFC.

Normally, New Orleans is known for their high-powered offense led by Drew Brees, but an improved defense ended up playing a huge factor in the team’s turnaround. Thanks to the Saints taking advantage of a strong draft last April led by selecting Marshon Lattimore, this team seems built to compete for years to come since they’re loaded with talent on both sides of the football.

Los Angeles may have ended up on the winning end when these teams met last season, but New Orleans will be motivated more than ever in 2018 after seeing what went down last January against the Minnesota Vikings. If all goes well, the Saints are going to be difficult to beat next season, and should give the Rams quite a challenge, whether it’s prime time or simply just a regular game on Sunday.
