With the schedule for the 2018 NFL season set to be released Thursday night, one tweet hints the Los Angeles Rams may have multiple prime-time games.

Around this time last year, Los Angeles Rams fans had no idea what to expect from their team heading into Sean McVay‘s first season as the new head coach after only winning four games the year before. As everyone knows, the Rams would go on to become one of the best stories from the 2017 season on their way to winning the NFC West title, setting the bar at a whole new level heading into 2018.

In fact, the argument can be made that Los Angeles deserves consideration for being one of the biggest winners of the offseason when looking at all of the big moves made to increase their chances of winning the Super Bowl. Whether it was signing Ndamukong Suh to play alongside Aaron Donald to adding another playmaker for Jared Goff to work with in Brandin Cooks, the Rams have made it clear they’re in win-now mode for 2018, and it’s exciting.

Thanks to all of the hype, Los Angeles is expected to see the complete opposite of last season in which they actually receive a ton of national attention when it comes to being fortunate enough to play prime-time games. In fact, the news broke early on Wednesday how the Rams game in Mexico City against the Kansas City Chiefs would be featured on Monday Night Football, and even nothing else is official, one tweet hints the team could be in for a few more games in the national spotlight.

Nobody needs a detective to figure out what a message on Twitter like that means, as it seems clear Los Angeles fans are going to have plenty of reasons to be excited over the national attention this team is about to receive in 2018. After all of the big moves made over the last few months, the Rams have become an early favorite to make a serious run at winning next year’s Super Bowl, and when looking at all of the talent on both sides of the football, fans should have fun watching them throughout the regular season.

Then again, Los Angeles better be ready for this new level of pressure they aren’t used to dealing with since they are going to be one of a few teams playing with targets on their back as a top team to take down. Either way, at least it’s exciting to see the Rams finally earning respect again in the NFL after all of those awful years during the Jeff Fisher era, as McVay deserves a ton of credit for his quick success.
