The Los Angeles Rams are becoming a lot of things as the long offseason rolls-on. Then again it’s June, when everything is possible

You know it’s June in the National Football League. For Los Angeles Rams fans, they’ve run the gamut of all kinds of things as they read what their team will, or will not do, and who they are or may not be.

They are the next super team.
Super Bowl locked and bound.
Bonafide.
Young and veteran.
A juggernaut built to last, or at the very least; a one hit wonder.

It’s enough to give you whiplash. Yet truth be told, until they get to actually playing football, it’s anybody’s guess who or what they may actually end up being.

What we do know, is the Rams have all the markings of a team who could have some staying power beyond 2018. While a player like Ndamukong Suh is a potential one year rental, and players like Aqib Talib, Andrew Whitworth and John Sullivan are closer to the end than the beginning, LA is at the very least, interesting long term.

hey, interesting is good.

Despite all that, it can be a remarkable thought that the Rams are not yet two full seasons removed from abject mediocrity.

Let’s be honest, they were a dumpster fire.

Los Angeles is now looking down the barrel of a run, a legitimate one no less, at a Lombardi Trophy. Admire or admonish General Manager Les Snead for a lot of things (like Aaron Donald sans a new deal), but he’s given his boy wonder of a head coach all the tools to win big and win big now.

Interesting, right?

Next: Sean Mannion should get all the Rams preseason work

In June, the NFL has teams who can and cannot. Teams who can win either at least eight games, or lose at least eight games.

The Los Angeles Rams are likely better than both. They will win more than eight games, maybe even more than 10.

Hey, maybe more.

Then again it’s June, and in June everything and anything is possible.
