The Los Angeles Rams are considered one of the early favorites in the NFC to make a serious run at the Super Bowl during the 2018 season.

After months of waiting and being patient, training camp for the 2018 season will officially be underway for the Los Angeles Rams at this time next week, which is beyond exciting after last year’s surprise success.

Heading into Sean McVay‘s first season as head coach, it seemed like the Rams would be going through a year of rebuilding while adjusting to his new system on both offense and defense. Instead, Los Angeles wasted no time buying into what McVay was selling, and as a result, the team would go on to overtake the Seattle Seahawks to win the NFC West.

Now, the pressure is on the Rams to show last year wasn’t just a one-time thing, and this team is talented enough to live up to the hype by becoming a top contender in the NFC. Before the offseason got underway, Los Angeles was already viewed as one of the top teams heading into the 2018 season, but key moves made this offseason took expectations to a whole new level.

From signing Ndamukong Suh to acquiring Brandin Cooks before eventually locking him up to a long-term deal, the Rams have made it clear they’re in a win-now mode, and are absolutely stacked with talent on both sides of the football.

Assuming everyone manages to stay healthy, there’s every reason to believe Los Angeles will finish the 2018 season with one of the best records in the NFC, and could even be in the running for the No. 1 seed in the playoffs. However, it looks like the Rams are taking their confidence to a whole new level when seeing how their season ticket package includes two home playoff games, which Rich Eisen pointed out on Friday.

As much as the Rams should be focusing on taking things one week at a time, fans have to love this kind of confidence from a team coming off a 2017 season in which they made NFL history by going from worst to first in scoring.

Clearly, McVay has changed the culture in the best way possible for this organization by making Los Angeles believe anything is possible after last year’s success, and what’s even more scary to consider is they seem to only be scratching the surface of their potential.

Only time will tell when it comes to whether these printed playoff tickets will be used come January, but at least there’s plenty of excitement surrounding the Rams unlike this time last year. At the end of the day, isn’t that what matters the most?
