Los Angeles Rams fans will be thrilled to see the team wear their throwback uniforms more often at home during the 2018 season.

Unlike last summer, expectations are higher than ever for the Los Angeles Rams during training camp, as many believe this team is capable of making a serious run at the Super Bowl in 2018 after winning the NFC West last season.

Between adjusting to Sean McVay as the new head coach along with the fact they were coming off a four-win season in 2016, the Rams were expected by many to finish 8-8 at best in 2017, which was obviously far from the case.

Thanks to the team quickly buying in to what McVay was selling, Los Angeles emerged as one of the biggest surprises from last season. And after being one of the biggest winners of the offseason as a result of numerous key additions, many Rams fans are beyond excited over this team’s chances of representing the NFC in Atlanta during the Super Bowl in February.

To top the excitement off, fans and Los Angeles players received news regarding uniforms for the 2018 season, as McVay’s squad found out they would be allowed to wear throwback uniforms in five home games, which is amazing.

Rams fans haven’t been shy about how much they love these classic blue and yellow uniforms, so this can obviously be considered a win when looking at how hideous some of their jerseys have been over the years.

Before fans know it, the 2020 season will finally be here, and not only will Los Angeles finally be playing in their new stadium, but also the team will be changing their uniforms completely as well.

In a way, a fresh start with new uniforms in a brand new stadium seems perfect for a team like the Rams since that year will be filled with all sorts of celebrations.

Until then, Los Angeles fans can enjoy these sweet throwback uniforms, as they anxiously wait to see if their beloved team has what it takes to live up to the offseason hype.

It’s certainly not going to be easy, but knowing McVay, there’s every reason to believe he will have the Rams ready for the challenge.
