The Los Angeles Rams look to finally be on the verge of playing their starters when they host the Houston Texans in an exhibition game on Saturday.

As Week 3 of the NFL exhibition season rolls around, head coach Sean McVay and the Los Angeles Rams look poised to finally let starters get some real-time game action.

Who knew?

McVay, who looks to have been personally and professionally vexed by the “should I, or shouldn’t I” prospects of using his starters in the exhibition season, appears ready to do just that.

Hey fans, park the criticism.

Even players like Aqib Talib and Robert Woods have expressed the need to get some defensive reps and work on timing with Jared Goff in an actual football game.

THIS IS A GOOD THING!!!

It also means the NFL world gets to see, potentially, a few firsts.

Like Marcus Peters and the aforementioned Talib. Also two other big offseason acquisitions like Ndamukong Suh and Brandin Cooks.

Now as for how much playing time they get remains to be seen, but they won’t be simply in uniform to be in uniform. It’s time they get some action in, and against the Houston Texans, they will.

So finally, fans will get to see the Rams starters in a football game since the season came to an unceremonious halt when Los Angeles lost to Atlanta in the playoffs last season.

Something they begin to make amends for on Saturday afternoon.
