Pick a day, pick a news conference, and you’ll hear a lot about Donald. Unfortunately, very little has been accurate?

As a matter of fact, the most notable news came from COO Kevin Demoff, who has been roundly criticized from St. Louis to Los Angeles. However on this issue, he’s been perhaps the most transparent in the organization.

Unfortunately, that’s not saying much.

This week alone, the Rams made a bit of news in saying there really isn’t any news at all. Reports on consecutive days had McVay saying Donald has no timetable for rejoining the team, and the next day a report saying it’s “been awhile” since he has had any contact with AD.

One thing is for certain, what appeared as an almost imminent resolution seems stagnant.

So what should fans and even the media believe?

Probably best to believe little from anyone in the organization and about the same from media who are listening to the Rams.

Fact is, messaging has been horrible as there is little to no consensus from executives, to McVay, to what players do and don’t say. The only consensus is they want AND need him back in the Rams locker room.

That said, if recent events are any indication, I’d discount that on a few levels too.

Words are cheap. In Los Angeles, they’ve grow almost meaningless in the context of this situation.
