Here are three reasons why it’s time for the Los Angeles Rams to play their starters in Week 3 of the preseason against the Houston Texans.

Thanks to last year’s surprise success in winning the NFC West along with all of the other key additions made this offseason such as Brandin Cooks and Ndamukong Suh, expectations surrounding Los Angeles are higher than ever heading into the 2018 season. And even though this is a whole new level of pressure the team isn’t used to dealing with since they’re actually viewed as a legitimate contender early on, this shouldn’t stand in the way of the Rams succeeding in their second season playing under McVay.
