Week 4 of the NFL preseason has the Los Angeles Rams playing the New Orleans Saints as an uneventful exhibition season finally comes to an end.

Mercifully, the 2018 NFL exhibition season is coming to an end on Thursday night. That’s when the Los Angeles Rams play the New Orleans Saints to close out what can best be described as an uneventful preseason.

Hey, maybe that’s a good thing.

For the Rams, the only drama left is who ultimately wins the battle of the backup quarterback position and whether defensive tackle Aaron Donald and Los Angeles can get a deal done. That alone will be an interesting watch as we roll into the end of August and plunge into September and the regular season.

As for the preseason itself, the Rams were much more interesting in free agency. Head coach Sean McVay provided little worth watching as he kept his offense off the field while the defense made an appearance, albeit a brief one, against the Houston Texans this past Saturday afternoon.

As for answers to whatever questions fans and the NFL media may have been looking for, well, you’re probably still wondering.

light. Related Story. Can McVay simply flip the switch on the Rams offense?

All we really know as Week 4 and the final week of the exhibition season rolls around, is that both Sean Mannion and Brandon Allen leave a lot to be desired, and John Kelly looks to absolutely be the goods, despite whatever Malcolm Brown fans want to yell at you.

So with that, here are three storylines to marinate in as we all wait for September 10 to finally roll around, and the Rams to finally take the field.
