3. Worth the wait
After all the extra stress from last summer involving the waiting game for Donald to finally show up, Rams fans figured it would be nearly impossible for this scenario to take place again, mainly because they assumed Los Angeles as an organization learned their lesson. Entering the 2018 season, the last thing the Rams wanted to see happen was Donald spend all of training camp and preseason holding out for a second year in a row, but it looks like the negotiations ended up taking longer than originally expected.
Without question, Los Angeles fans had every reason in the world to be frustrated over what seemed to be a lack of progress between the two sides working out a fair deal. But now that an agreement is finally in place to make sure Donald is around for the long run, all of those negative feelings have quickly changed.
It sounds crazy to say that two years of dealing with this nonsense made it worth the wait since Donald has no reason to complain anymore, but that’s exactly the case. When seeing how Donald will be showing up just in time once again to be there for the team when it matters the most to kick off the regular season, this is what’s most important for the Rams.
