Here are five players facing the most pressure for the Los Angeles Rams in Week 1 against the Oakland Raiders.

Even though the Los Angeles Rams will have to wait an extra day to play their first game of the NFL 2018 season in Week 1 against the Oakland Raiders on Monday, the excitement is higher than ever for the NFC West champions. After emerging as one of the biggest surprises in the NFL last season by winning the division one year following a 4-12 record, many believe this Rams team is capable of making a serious run in the NFC, although that’s always easier said than done.

Just like most teams in the NFL, Los Angeles had plenty of questions in need of answering over the last couple of weeks during training camp and preseason, especially when it came to Aaron Donald holding out for a second year in a row. On paper, there’s every reason to believe the Rams will live up to the hype of being a top contender in the NFC, but also they still have a lot to prove, beginning on Monday night when facing the Raiders.

Plus, let’s not forget that only a handful of players on defense ended up seeing action during the preseason since Sean McVay didn’t want to risk any key members suffering injuries, and rightfully so when looking at how many players on other teams became victims throughout August. So when it comes to the players that need to step up the most against Oakland to give Los Angeles a much better chance of starting off the new season 1-0, here are the ones facing the most pressure heading into Monday.
