26. Dallas Cowboys

Two years ago, the Dallas Cowboys were sitting near the top of the league with one of the most explosive offenses in the NFL thanks to two young guns in Dak Prescott and Ezekiel Elliott. The Cowboys knew the offense was going to experience some adjustments heading into 2018 since Dez Bryant and Jason Witten were no longer in the picture, but if Week 1 is any sort of sign about what kind of year it’s going to be, Dallas could be in trouble.

Even if the argument can be made that the Carolina Panthers in general deserve credit for having a top defense in the NFL, it still doesn’t take away from how disappointing it was to watch the Cowboys for the most part. Not only did it take until the fourth quarter for the team to put up their first points of the game thanks to Elliott, but once again, Prescott went the entire game without tossing a single touchdown pass.

Seeing how this was a major concern for the Cowboys during Prescott’s sophomore season, someone in the receiving department needs to step it up for their beloved quarterback. Otherwise, Dallas could end up watching the playoffs from home for a second year in a row.
