5. Robert Woods

Joining the Rams during the 2017 offseason was one of the best decisions Robert Woods could have made for his career when taking into consideration the increased opportunity he would receive to make an impact in the passing game. After spending the first four years of his career as a member of the Buffalo Bills, Woods came to Los Angeles to provide the offense with a much-needed boost in their receiving corps since Tavon Austin was far from the answer of being a No. 1 target.

Right away, Woods made a splash while becoming a favorite target for Jared Goff by finishing his first season with the Rams by catching 56 passes for 781 yards and five touchdowns in five games. Without question, Woods is in the perfect position to top these numbers in 2018 with Los Angeles, and should be one of the players that benefits the most from the addition of Brandin Cooks.

Woods only ended up catching three passes for 37 yards in the opener against the Raiders, but also keep in mind that Goff targeted him nine times, and just missed him a few times on what could have been big plays. As long as the targets continue, Woods is only going to see his production increase.
