1. Cooks worth every penny of new deal

Not too long ago, there were some concerns over the fact that Los Angeles was willing to reward Brandin Cooks with a hefty extension before Aaron Donald, mainly due to the fact that he hadn’t even played a single snap yet with the team. After missing out on Sammy Watkins in free agency when he decided to go to the Kansas City Chiefs, it all seemed to work out even better for the Rams since Cooks seems to be a major upgrade.

Right away, Los Angeles knew the addition of Cooks was going to provide the offense with another speedy deep threat, and after seeing him stand out in Week 1, all eyes were on the wideout to see what he would bring to the table when facing Arizona. Once again, Cooks showed he was well worth giving up a first rounder for after he caught seven passes for 159 yards against his new division rival.

As for when Cooks will the find the end zone for the first time as a member of the Rams, well let’s just say as long as the team is winning games, this is what matters the most. Cooks knows that it’s only a matter of time before his time does come to find the end zone, and with the way he’s catching the football, early signs point to him being in for a career year.
