2. Rams scored 34 points with only one Goff touchdown

Remember all of those questions surrounding Jared Goff at the beginning of last season, and whether he was capable of being the answer for the Rams under center? Fast forward to the 2018 season in which Goff is coming off a Pro Bowl year while continuing to flourish under McVay’s system, making it clear that nobody is concerned even the slightest bit anymore.

One of the main reasons why Los Angeles was so high on hiring McVay in general was due to his history of quarterback development from the time he spent with the Washington Redskins helping Kirk Cousins. After just one season, McVay helped elevate Goff to a whole new level in which he’s arguably viewed as one of the top quarterbacks on the rise in the NFL, and seeing him continue to be successful running this offense is amazing to see.

Sunday’s win over the Cardinals in which the Rams were able to put up 34 points while Goff only tossed one touchdown pass shows how much talent this unit currently has. Whether it’s Todd Gurley (three rushing touchdowns) or a strong trio of receivers to work with, Goff’s job is going to be much easier to handle playing in this kind of offense.
