5. Cooper Kupp

As mentioned plenty of times before, Cooper Kupp has always been one of those receivers for the Rams that plays at a high enough level that will make football fans believe he’s been in the league for years, even though 2018 is only his second season. The Rams always felt confident in Kupp turning out to be a steal during the NFL Draft in 2017 when looking at the impact he made in four seasons at Eastern Washington, and the 25-year-old seems to have picked up right where he left off so far in 2018.

115 receiving yards for a touchdown in two games may not seem like that big of a deal on paper, but also keep in mind that Goff is one of the best when it comes to spreading the football around, meaning Kupp’s could be better if he wasn’t the No. 3 option. Then again, Kupp also benefits from opposing defenders worrying about the whereabouts of Brandin Cooks and Robert Woods, which could work to his advantage once again come Sunday.

By averaging 7.5 targets per game so far in 2018, Kupp should see plenty of action once again since the Rams are going to face their toughest challenge yet when taking on the Chargers after cruising to wins over the Oakland Raiders and Arizona Cardinals. Turns out, the Rams were right along about Kupp turning out to be a steal, and the best part is he’s only going to continue getting better at this rate.
