3. Big day for Woods

Prior to last season, the Rams signed Robert Woods in free agency with the intention that he could end up being a huge steal at wide receiver, and it looks like this was one of the best decisions the team could have made. Woods may be entering his sixth NFL season in search of breaking the 1,000-yard mark for the first time, and when looking at the rate he’s going, this could very well happen in 2018.

As for Sunday’s game, Woods put together his best outing to date after torching the Chargers with 10 catches for 104 yards to go along with two trips into the end zone. Over the first two weeks, Woods had seen plenty of opportunities to score his first touchdown of the season, but it was well worth the wait when seeing all of the excitement Sunday afternoon.

Now that he no longer has to worry about handling the pressure of finding the end zone for the first time this season, all eyes will be on Woods come Thursday to see if he continues to play at this high of a level. Against a frustrated Vikings team coming off an embarrassing loss of their own at home during their loss to the Buffalo Bills, the Rams may need another similar performance by Woods to give them a better chance of pulling off the win.
